Best New Games April 2024

The Best New Games April 2024 are set to keep this great year in gaming going. With what might be my favorite game of the year you know April is going to be one to watch! A throwback to older times, releases of popular games on new platforms, and a switch up on a well-defined genre.

5. Dave the Diver (PS4, PS5) - April

We will start off the list with an absolute gem. Dave the Diver is a single-player RPG featuring deep-sea exploration and fishing during the day and sushi restaurant management at night. Sounds a bit strange right? Well yes but only in the best ways! Most people like to describe the game as unique and relaxing, with a great story to match Dave the Diver is a game that should be on every Playstation users radar going into April.

4. Sea of Thieves (PS5) – April 30

Another great game to come over to the PS5 is Sea of Thieves. Sea of Thieves is the quintessential pirate game, from roaming the seas to digging up treasure Sea of Thieves really has it all. With fun PvP to boot you can truly embrace the pirate way and play the way you find most fun. Play solo or with your friends but be sure to get out on the seas!

3. Tales of Kenzera: Zau (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC) – April 23

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a Metroidvania-style adventure that has you play as Zau, a young shaman who bargains with the God of death to bring his Baba back from the darkness. Wielding the dance of the shaman and exploring the beautiful world of Kenzera has us very intrigued and warranted a place on our Best New Games April 2024!

2. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, PC) – April 23

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a modern take on a classic gaming genre JRPGS! With lands roamed by humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people many alliances and wars have been made and fought over. Explore the vast war-torn world with over 100+ playable characters to choose from. Can you save the world from destruction?

1. Manor Lords (PC) – April 26

Manor Lords is set to be much more than just another City Building game. The upcoming strategy game “combines deep, organic and realistic city building with large scale, tactical battles.” This fresh spin on the genre has been needed and if done correctly Manor Lords could be one of the greats for a year already stacked full of amazing games! Manor Lords is an absolute must for me to have on our Best New Games April 2024 and could very well be my favorite game of the year! A later release for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is also expected for even more fun.
