Although a little biased, I did my research for the best gaming laptops I should buy for myself. There were a few things that I wanted:
- 15.6 inch and not too heavy
- doesn’t scream “gaming laptop”
- good battery life
- great specs
- great sound
- as quiet as possible
The G15 fit the entire list of criteria. As far as gaming laptops go, it’s very light and portable. It doesn’t have RGBs everywhere, and it has an amazing battery life.
The fans do ramp up under load, but the overall sound isn’t very loud at all. For me, it was the perfect gaming laptop and I would recommend it wholeheartedtly!

The Acer Nitro is a very affordable gaming laptop that still has impressive hardware inside. With a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 5800H, you’ll have enough horsepower to get through even the most demanding titles with a buttery smooth framerate.
The 1080p screen is more than enough for the size of the laptop. Pair that with a 144hz refresh rate and you’re looking at versatile gaming machine.
Of course, if you’re looking for a longer than average battery, you might want to consider other
options.

The Legion series is Lenovo’s fresh new take on providing the best gaming laptops for a solid price point. The Legion series look great, feel sturdy, and deliver exceptional performance. We reccommend these laptops for anyone who’s looking to find a powerful machine with portability and power.
The only real drawback of these machines is the mediocre battery life. However, if you’re using them as desktop replacement laptops and are more often the not hooked up the power, it’s hard to find too many more negatives.
Lenovo did an excellent job with the designs of these machines. The price for performance is right up there with any other gaming laptop, too.

The Razer Blade 15 is one the sleekest gaming laptops out there. With its small size, awesome power, and good battery, it’s easy for this laptop to blend in with all the other Macbooks in school.
The Razer Blade is perfect laptop for school and work who’s looking for a powerful machine but doesn’t want a super thick chassis. Although it’s on the more expensive end, it does its job what it’s designed to do perfectly.

Best Laptop for Gaming and Work
If you’re looking for a laptop you can also use at work too, look no further than the ROG Zephyrus G15. Although we’ve already put this song on our list, I purchased this laptop for something I could bring to a coffee shop and not immediately get labeled as a gamer.
The Zephyrus, although bigger than Macbooks, is still a tiny machine in the realm of gaming laptops.
There aren’t any apparent RGBs and the backlit keyboard can be turned to any color you like. If you want it to look professional, just use the white light.
