The LCS is ever-changing so of course the LCS Rosters are too. From veteran players trying to submit their legacies to new up-and-coming rookies trying to make a splash in the league, there is always someone drawing in a ton of attention. So how do the teams stack up? Let’s take a closer look at the 2024 LCS Rosters!
LCS Teams
NRG
NRG were NA’s golden child at Worlds 2023, no one had NRG making it to the Quarterfinals yet they did. While they did fall 3-0 in that series all NA fans could be proud that NA placed better than EU at Worlds. The team decided to keep the same roster other than a minor change in the support role. LCS veteran “huhi” replaces “Ignar” and hopes to add to this team that already performed so well.
Top: Niship “Dhokla” Doshi
Jungle: Juan “Contracts” Garcia
Mid: Cristian “Palafox” Palafox
Bot: Victor “FBI” Huang
Support: Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun
Cloud9
A disappointing LCS finals followed by a disappointing 12-14th placement at Worlds Cloud9 want to make a big splash in 2024 solidifying that they still are the best in the LCS. Their two roster changes already have a lot of people convinced though. NA golden boy “jojopyun” and McDonald’s memer “Vulcan” have been two major players in the LCS and are looking to make C9 unstoppable in 2024.
Top: Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
Jungle: Robert “Blaber” Huang
Mid: Joseph “jojopyun” Joon Pyun
Bot: Mincheol “Berserker“ Kim
Support: Phillipe “Vulcan” Laflamme
Team Liquid
After a respectable 3rd in the LCS championship and a 15th 16th at Worlds, Team Liquid looks to continue to improve into 2024. Two roster changes were made with the return of the beloved “Impact” and the joining of LCK jungler “UmTi”. UmTi should be able to work comfortably within the team as both Impact and CoreJJ are Korean and will be able to communicate fully. Team Liquid was a bit of a surprise last year and could be a big contender this year as well.
Top: Jeong “Impact” Eon-young
Jungle: Eom “UmTi” Seong-hyeon
Mid: Eain “APA” Stearns
Bot: Sean “Yeon“ Sung
Support: Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in
100 Thieves
100 Thieves had a very disappointing 2023 LCS season. They hope to build up a future of good play with a young 2024 LCS Roster. “River” is someone who has already made his name in the LCS to a degree and will be the anchor of this team. Fans of the LCS will be happy to see “Sniper” make his debut. This team will likely struggle against the top teams but will have a large area in which to grow.
Top: Rayan “Sniper” Shoura
Jungle: Kim “River” Dong-woo
Mid: Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung
Bot: Brandon “Meech” Choi
Support: Bill “Elya” Nguyen
Dignitas
Dignitas looks to move into 2024 with a fresh start after a 5-6th finish in the LCS last year. With only two players returning from their previous LCS roster a lot is up in the air as to how well this team will do. Bringing in a previous LPL and LCK Mid/Top in “Dove” could spell some good news. Jungler “exYu” and Support “Isles” also joined Dig making them a very young team overall. Hopefully, if you’re a Dig fan this means the team can grow and learn together and be a real threat at some point, even if that may not be right away.
Top: Lee “Rich” Jae-won
Jungle: Lawrence “exYu” Lin Xu
Mid: Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon
Bot: Frank “Tomo” Lam
