Diablo 4 has been highly anticipated since its reveal back at Blizzcon 2019. With so much anticipation and excitement surrounding the game it was no surprise that Diablo 4 got plenty of testing and beta times. With the latest Diablo 4 Beta wrapping up not too long ago Blizzard seems to have listened to quite a bit and plans on making some decently big changes based on player feedback. The full game is said to be released in June so the timing couldn’t be better!
Some of the main gripes players had with the Diablo 4 beta revolved around class balance when it came to bosses and how quickly or slowly they would die. Another big complaint was the amount of backtracking the players would have to do. Blizzard plans to address the feedback from the Diablo 4 beta pretty upfront and is planning changes around said complaints. It’s wonderful to see the devs fully listen to the beta players and hopefully, the changes will be good for the overall health of the game.
The bosses targeted in the changes include Malnok, Vhenard, and T’chort which are being changed due to their enormous spike in difficulty for melee-based characters. The encounters are said to be changing rather significantly allowing for a better experience for everyone involved. Plenty of other quality-of-life improvements are also being made as to be expected, with cc abilities and user interface being just two named.
The Diablo 4 Beta seems to have done its job with players making their opinions known and Blizzard actually doing their part in listening and making changes. We have high hopes for Diablo 4 as Diablo 3 was released all the way back in 2012! We assume changes will continue to be made to the game as needed and can’t wait for June!
