The Evil Geniuses made history in the LCS Finals 2022 by sweeping 100Thieves and doing it in the fastest finals series ever in the LCS. In doing so, EG also became only the 6th team to win and LCS Championship following behind TSM, TL, CLG, C9, and the team they just beat 100Thieves.
The way to victory in these LCS finals 2022 came behind two very young and NA grown players JoJopyun and Danny. Both carries played extremely well, Danny especially put on a show continuing his dominate performance from just the day before when the put up another 3-0 sweep but that time against Team Liquid.
Evil Geniuses made a 12-1 run in the lower bracket just to make earn the trophy beating the three top teams in the LCS Cloud9, Team Liquid, and 100Thieves in that order. With their win EG will be the North American representative at MSI where they will be match up against Group C where they will meet up with some familiar faces to all of the LCS in G2.
