Seraphine Patch 10.23
Of course, just a single day after I put out my League of Legends Seraphine guide Riot Scruffy tweeted out a photo showing the first patch that looks to take place for Seraphine. Let’s talk about what these changes look to do for the champion and how that could change up my guide if any at all.
Base Stats
Base mana regen: 10 > 8
Obviously, this isn’t much of a change and won’t have much effect on her play.
Passive: Stage Presence
Note ratio: 7.5% AP > 6/7/8/9% AP (levels 1/6/11/16)
The passive getting a scaling AP% definitely will help Seraphine’s damage for the late game. While it does only catch up past level 11 it should be ok due to other changes. The scaling AP% will reward building more AP switching her to more of a carry role.
Q: High Note
Damage: 55/65/75/85/95 (+55% AP) > 55/70/85/100/115 (+40/45/50/55/60% AP)
Seraphine’s Q damage is also getting a buff. Not only will this improve her dps but wave clear as well.
E – Beat Drop
Base damage: 60/85/110/135/160 > 60/80/100/120/140 and Damage to minions: 60/70/80/90/100% > 100%
Beat drop is getting the most influential buff. While the damage ratios are going down the damage to minions will be vital for allowing her to clear waves and roam more easily.
Seraphine Patch 10.23
The critical take away from this update is that support Seraphine was not nerfed by any means. The W went unchanged and her cc is still very much there. Clearly, Riot what to shift Seraphine into more of a mid role as that was their intention all along. She should be more viable in mid with an increase to her wave clear and general power. Expect Seraphine to still be played in both roles though.
