We finally get to fight a god! Zamorak Lord Of Chaos can now be fought in RS3. “Fight through the Zamorakian Undercity, use the portal to reach him, and finish this – once and for all.”

Not an experienced PvMer? No need to worry, Zamorak Lord Of Chaos was built with all players in mind. The boss will feature a story mode that will have a 90% damage reduction and safe deaths. You can fight Zamorak Solo or in a group of up to five people with the boss scaling to the number of players you have.

Story Mode will also for the first time offer some of the new rewards. While the rates will obviously be quite a substantial drop-off from the real thing this will offer players the ability to learn the boss while still having at least some chance to get some loot!

For more hardcore PvMers the boss will still offer two different modes of use. Normal Mode is exactly what it sounds like with it being the base experience of the fight. But if you’re looking for some epic clips or just more of a challenge the Enrage mode will put you to the test. With Jagex saying that the Zamorak Lord Of Chaos boss fight is able to scale to literal impossible difficulties the climb to see who can get the furthest is likely something we will see the community compete at.

So with all that being said what do we get from Zamorak Lord Of Chaos?

Zamorak Lord Of Chaos Common Drops
The average worth of just common drops is 363,929.

The enrage that Zamorak was killed determines the number of drops given in the form of invisible points. Completing the dungeon prior to defeating Zamorak multiplies the number of points by 1.75, which is then rounded down. Story Mode is not affected by this bonus.

The points are then “spent” when you get a drop from the common drops table. Each section of the common drops table has a 1/14 chance. Essentially higher enrage % equals more points. Both Dwarf weed and Lantadyme seeds as well as the Dark animica stone spirit are 1 point. The Grimy dwarf weed, Grimy torstol, Accursed ashes, Infernus pyroclasts, and raw rocktail drops are 2 points. Soul runes, Huge bladed rune salvage, and Small plated orikalkum salvage are 3 points. Hydrix bolt tips and Blood runes are 4, and finally, the Onyx bolt tips and Uncut onyx/chaos relic (rare) are 5!

Zamorak Lord of Chaos Signature Drops
The average worth of just Signature Drops is 434,913,977

If a player has been chosen to receive a signature drop at Zamorak Lord of Chaos, an animation of green particles will surround their character. Whether a player receives a signature drop is decided as the fight ends, with the specific reward rolled upon opening the chest.

We’re super excited to get into the fight against Zamorak Lord Of Chaos and as always can’t wait to see how far the community can go with the fight! If you’re a fan of OSRS as well be sure to check out the new OSRS skills.
