Company of Heroes 3 is set to become the successor the insanely popular Company of Heroes 2. The new overhauled destruction system is just one of the awesome new features coming our way.

After many years in development, Relic Entertainment has finally given us a taste of their upcoming RTS game, Company of Heroes 3.

If you’re interested in learning more about the pre-Alpha preview of the game, we’ve got you covered.

Company of Heroes 3 is the third installment of the mega-successful World War II RTS series. The original Company of Heroes made its debut in 2006 and quickly became a smash hit. The gameplay, strategy, and historic accuracy of the games have made it a beloved series by many.

Company of Heroes 3 is set to take place in Italy and North Africa. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Company of Heroes game without an immersive campaign, would it? You can count on another excellent campaign for this game as well.

If you aren’t excited enough, there have been reports of the scale of the new game will be enormous. We should apparently expect it to be the scale of a Total War game all bunded into an action-packed RTS.

One of the major selling points for the Company of Heroes 3 is the “holistic loop” that keeps the campaign linked with the RTS battles. The campaign features a turn-based style which defers from the fluid combat of the series. However, everything that’s able to be done with regular fluid combat will be able to be done with the turn-based style.

One major selling point of the new game is the completely overhauled construction system. Everything from props to buildings to foloage can be damaged. Buildings can be chipped away, tree trunks still standing, and vehicle doors ripped off.

If you’re earger for some Company of Heroes action, you can actually play it now. A pre-alpha demo is available on Steam right now! Join the battlefield mayhem and get your war general strategy updated because Company of Heores 3 is on the way
