To no one’s surprise, DAMWON continued their dominance throughout Worlds in the finals, taking the series (3-1). While this does bring the summoners cup back to Korea what it doesn’t guarantee is the dominance Korea once had. It is very unlikely we ever see dominance like that of SKT ever happen again. This being said the DAMWON group are still seeming to be the future of League. We want to congratulate DAMWON on their huge win and hope they celebrate accordingly.
Suning also deserves credit as they proved the doubters wrong making it to finals where no one realistically had them at the beginning of Worlds. Suning almost reminds you of a younger DAMWON with their strong individual play. Only time will tell if Suning can grow as DAMWON did and hopefully contest again next year during Worlds.
