The 2022 Meta Quest Gaming Showcase brought us some really exciting news on what’s to come to the platform in the next year. The one that got us most excited however comes from a property quite a few years old. We will be getting a Ghostbusters VR game!
The game will be set in San Fransico with players setting up their HQ. The new location brings a “new chapter” to the Ghostbusters universe meaning the game will not be based on previous versions of the IP. While the game doesn’t have a set release date as of now the executive producer of Oculus Ruth Bram had mentioned during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase that the games highlighted were set to come out this year.
Not only will you be able to play the new Ghostbusters VR on your own but also with three others in a four-player co-op mode. Not only will you get to play with friends but be sure you will be able to fend off ghosts with iconic equipment known from the franchise like the proton pack! So while many things are still yet to be known you better start thinking of “who you gonna call!”
