With the holiday season already getting so close, you might be wondering what games you should ask for as a gift this year. Luckily for you, there are plenty to choose from but to help you narrow it down here are our Top 5 Best Games this holiday season 2022!
5. Sonic Frontiers
To start off the list we will go with a family-friendly game that can be fun not just for the young ones but also for the parents who likely grew up with the series. Releasing November 8th, Sonic Frontiers will have you exploring a brand new open zone map. With five massive overworlds to explore with everything from dense forests to arid desert landscapes, you will have plenty to do and secrets to find! That and plenty more the game has to offer is why it made it on our Top 5 Best Games this Holiday Season list.

4. The Callisto Protocol
From family-friendly to decidedly less so. The Callisto Protocol releasing on December 2, a survival horror game from the original creator of the Dead Space franchise. You will fight to survive the horrors locked within the walls of Black Iron Prison. A unique mix between horror, action, and best of all immersive story-telling The Callisto Protocol has my hopes up for sure!

3. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Not many are strangers to the iconic series Pokémon. The Game Freak super series is back again with another installment. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are set to release on November 18th, with around 122 games now in the series you generally know what you’re going to get. The new Pokémon to collect and a new area to explore make the game worth it enough and was always going to make our Top 5 Best Games This Holiday Season list!

2. God of War Ragnarök
Another beloved series is making an appearance on our Top 5 Best Games This Holiday Season list. God of War is no stranger to being highly anticipated. Ragnarök is not different, coming out November 9th God of War Ragnarök will bring us to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers. Kratos and Atreus at the end of the day must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
Finally, the game that was bound to be number 1 on our Top 5 Best Games This Holiday Season list is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. A game that was so near and dear to so many young gamers’, including my own, hearts back in 2009. MW2 will hopefully bring back the classic Call of Duty multiplay that we loved so much with quick scopes and all. I personally can’t wait to see all the clips to come out of the game and wish you a wonderful Holiday Season!
