Top 5 Best VR Workout Games

Looking to get in shape for 2021 or just want to stay active during the quarantine? Well, we have a list of some of the Top 5 best VR workout games that are not only fun but will get your heart rate going as well.

Beat Saber

Beat Saber has been out since 2018 but even with that being said it is by far one of my favorite games in VR. The game is not only super enjoyable and will definitely get your heart rate up, but it also is built around music. In this rhythm game, you use your sabers to slice through blocks that have specific directions to the beat of the song you are playing.

Most people chose to workout with music as it is. The huge amount of songs to chose from also lets you find the genre you want or find the song you like the most. Every song is made differently with the slicing of the blocks based on the beat of said song. There is also a ton of range within the difficulty of the songs as well.

Regardless of if you are looking for a good workout or just a great game to play Beat Saber is high on my lists of recommendations, especially if you are looking for the best VR workout games! Try it out and let me know what your favorite songs are!

Holopoint

Another older VR game that just keeps being good no matter how long you play. Holopoint is an archery game that can be complete madness. Madness in a good way of course. You will shoot your way through many different types of targets all while doing your best to draw your arrows as quickly as possible.

Another great part of the game is progression is totally based on skill rather than unlocks. With a high score being your main goal you get to play at your own pace as well. The game also offers two different game modes in Original and Time-Trial so you can switch it up as you want.

The game can get very intense and you will easily be breaking a sweat while playing. With this list being of the Top 5 best VR workout games that is probably what you are looking for. Time-Trial also offers a built-in timer for your workout as well.

The Thrill of the Fight

Anyone who has ever tried boxing before knows that it is an amazing workout. The best part about VR boxing is that it is much the same. While The Thrill of the Fight is obviously not real boxing the movements are very similar and definitely still work up a sweat. The game was also built around the idea of authenticity and I feel that it does a pretty good job of it.

You enter the gym and make your way through different unique challengers. Each challenger has their own styles and techniques just like most boxers. The workout comes in as you dodge and swing back to try and beat your opponent.

It won’t take you too long to realize why stamina is talked about so much with boxing. You will utilize everything you can as you do your best to become king of the ring!

Sprint Vector

With a name like Sprint Vector, it’s not hard to imagine the game being a good workout. Don’t let the name fool you though you not only get to run but also jump, climb, drift, and fly at extreme velocity during your races. With up to 8 players per race, they can get crazy quick.

The game also has three different modes to keep things fresh. Single-player, multiplayer, and challenge modes are all fun and offer you a slightly different feel in each. You also get to chose your racer from the very unique group of 8. Best of all it always gets the heart rate up which is why it’s on our best VR workout games 2021.

Racket Fury: Table Tennis VR

Table Tennis always works as a solid arm workout and in VR it’s still the same. With up to 16 opponents to go up against in 4 different cups, you can get a decent amount of unique gameplay as well. The gameplay is also pretty realistic so any Table Tennis player can have some good fun as well.

Overall again it’s just a good game that can also be a good workout. It doesn’t have to be too intensive so can be a great introduction to working out with VR.
