Eivor heads to the Emerald Isle with the Wrath Of The Druids expansion.

Ubisoft has been hard at work on it’s new expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Scheduled to launch on April 29th, Wrath of the druids will have Eivor setting sail for Ireland this time around.

“Explore and smuggle your way through the haunted beauty of Ireland as you gain the favor of Gaelic kings and confront the druidic cult, the Children of Danu”- Ubisoft

Ubisoft has stated that the expansion will be available as a standalone purchase or as part of the season pass if you have it.

Valhalla is taking shape to resemble an update strcuture very similar to its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game will receive two large pay-to-play expansions with smaller, free updates thrown in to the mix. Now that I think of it, The Witcher 3 also followed this path.

The big difference between the two is that Valhalla’s expansions won’t be split into multiple episodes. The Wrath of the Druids expansion will be followed up by a completely different expansion, The Siege of Paris.

Ubisoft has confirmed The Siege of Paris will be scheduled to release this summer. As you might have guessed, this summer expansion will have you traversing, raiding, and pillaging the city of Paris in order to protect and expand your Viking clan.

There’s never been a better time to play some Assassin’s Creed Valhalla while the Ostara Festival is happening. Not to mention, Ubisoft has added the Altair outfit in the game. They’ve also recently introduced a transmog feature that was heavily requested by many players.
